Timber Wolf Adventure Race
April 26, 2008
Registration starts at 5:30 a.m. at Conner's Lake Park west of Phillips in the Flambeau River State Forest, Cty. Hwy. W, Winter, WI. The pre-race meeting is at 6:30 a.m. Race starts at 7:15 a.m. The race is 8-10 hours in one of Wisconsin’s most primitive and pristine areas of vast forest land. The teams of two racers will experience physical and mental challenges throughout the course with biking (about 2-1/2-3 hrs.), orienteering, canoeing (about 2 hrs.) the Flambeau River, and more. Divisions include Male:Male, Female:Female, and Male:Female. The $75 registration fee includes canoe rental, T-shirt, Bag-o-swag, never ending plate of food after the race, and prizes for the top three winners of each division. Demo Days
